Hand cut, prepared and assembled in Cornwall. Natural variations in grain and the patina of the metal give every burner its own character. Approximate dimensions: W20cm × D12cm × H26cm.
How your burner works
Add water and fragrance oil to the glass flask, following the supplied instructions. Light the tealight beneath it. As the water gently warms, it releases fragrance into your space. Allow time for the water to warm; fragrance is not released immediately.
Which oil is included?
Your 10ml starter fragrance is selected from available scents when we pack your order. If you have a favourite, you can add it separately.
Delivery, care & safety
Orders are dispatched within 2 working days using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Free UK delivery on orders £70+. Standard delivery is £4 for orders from £25 to £69.99; see our delivery policy for smaller orders. Use on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets, and allow the burner to cool before handling. Follow all instructions supplied.

Add fragrance oil
Add your chosen fragrance oil to the water and gently swirl to combine.

Light your tealight
Position the flask securely, then light the tealight beneath it. Give the water time to warm and the scent to unfold.
Always follow the setup, candle and safety instructions supplied with your burner. Never leave a lit candle unattended.

Who we are.
We’re Ash & Kat. We make Abel in Cornwall.
Our first burner was made for our own home in 2017. In 2020, that simple idea became Abel. Today, we still hand cut, prepare and assemble our burners in our village workshop, with a small team and a love of thoughtful design.

Before you settle in.
Does it come with everything I need?
Yes. Every standard burner includes the stand and base, a glass flask, a 10ml fragrance oil selected by us and two soy tealights. Just add water and follow the instructions in your box.
Will I smell the fragrance straight away?
The candle needs time to gently warm the water before the fragrance begins to diffuse. Allow the ritual to unfold rather than expecting an instant burst of mist.
Do the different finishes work differently?
The standard burners use the same tealight-and-flask method. Choose the wood and metal finish you enjoy looking at; the difference is in the materials and appearance.
Can I change the fragrance?
Yes. Once the burner is extinguished and completely cool, clean the flask according to the care instructions before preparing your next scent.
Can I replace the glass flask?
Replacement Abel glass flasks are available separately, so you can keep enjoying your burner if the glass needs replacing.

Our returns policy allows you to request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must meet the conditions in the policy, including being unused and in their original packaging. Return postage is your responsibility.
